During this four-week guitar class, participants will explore a range of songwriting possibilities using one string! Artists will listen to popular one-string riffs (think “Smoke on the Water”) to inspire their own original compositions.
Please note that this class is best suited for artists who:
- Are comfortable with tasks that require focused attention, repetition, and the development of fine motor skills
- Are interested in learning a foundational level of music theory
- Love learning and are willing to explore and practice material outside of class time to progress in the class as a group
- Have an instrument at home they can use to practice (but not necessary)
A guitar will be provided to artists by the NaAC to use during the class.
