In 2015, award-winning soprano Sarah Jo Kirsch delivered a tour-de-force performance of Ligeti’s Mysteries of the Macabre that left our audience breathless and the Calgary Herald declaring: “Ms. Kirsch’s performance itself was the masterpiece.”
Along with conductor Claude Lapalme, and to kick off our 30th anniversary season, she returns for a reprise Ligeti’s legendary composition in a special program that includes works by Salina Fisher, Vincent Ho, Jocelyn Morlock, Anna Pidgorna, Fazil Say, and Ana Sokolovic.
