DESCRIPTION:Springboard Performance Presents containR Fest at containR Art Park ft. Jocelyn Mah and James Watson. \nMusic as Puppetry is a whimsical\, all-ages interdisciplinary performance by Jocelyn Mah and James Watson blending live violin\, contemporary dance\, and mask theatre. Born from a collaborative process where choreography and music were developed side by side\, the story follows “Violon”\, a marionette doll\, as she resists the control of the Maestro and discovers freedom through play.  \nAfter the performance\, audience members of all ages will be invited to join in a short movement exploration\, as well as an up-close look at the work’s exquisite costumes\, mask and puppet.
