SUMMARY:Comics Workshop: Concept to Comic
DESCRIPTION:Join this workshop to learn how to conceptualize and create your own very comics! \nComics Workshop: Concept to Comic’s goal is to challenge barriers surrounding comics\, explore how diverse the art form is\, and celebrate its rich history. Inspired by a workshop conducted at the Esker Foundation in April 2025\, attendees will learn how to balance visuals and storytelling by creating their own scripts and worlds. All skill levels are welcome\, but the writing section is a beginner-level activity. \nWorkshops are recommended for people ages 16 and over. Children under 16 years old are welcome with parent/guardian supervision. Please get a ticket for each person (incl. all children). \nThe workshop is admission by donation! Suggested $20 – $30 to support facilitator fees and supplies.
