DESCRIPTION:In 2015\, award-winning soprano Sarah Jo Kirsch delivered a tour-de-force performance of Ligeti’s Mysteries of the Macabre that left our audience breathless and the Calgary Herald declaring: “Ms. Kirsch’s performance itself was the masterpiece.” \nAlong with conductor Claude Lapalme\, and to kick off our 30th anniversary season\, she returns for a reprise Ligeti’s legendary composition in a special program that includes works by Salina Fisher\, Vincent Ho\, Jocelyn Morlock\, Anna Pidgorna\, Fazil Say\, and Ana Sokolovic.
