SUMMARY:KIDS Studio: Painting with Tempera and Oil Pastels
DESCRIPTION:Families with children ages 7-12 are invited to explore themes from our current exhibitions through art making activities \nFamilies with children (ages 7 – 12 ONLY due to the higher difficulty of the projects) are invited to join us at this workshop at Esker Foundation\, in which we will be exploring mediums and themes from Alexandre Pépin’s exhibition Lavender. \nKids Studio is a series of hands-on workshops designed for children aged 7 to 12 where they can independently explore their creativity through artistic experimentation and imaginative play. Each workshop introduces conceptual and creative ways of thinking encouraging them to have fun creating with each other! \nRegistration and parent/guardian consent are essential. Parents/guardians are not required to be present for the duration of the program\, however if your child requires assistance with the following skills\, we ask that a parent/guardian accompanies them: clay modelling\, clay carving with sharp tools. \nIMPORTANT – Confirming attendance: Please make sure the phone number and email you have registered with are accurate. You will receive a confirmation text\, email\, or call prior to the program. You must reply to the text\, email\, or call to confirm your attendance. If you are not able to confirm\, your spot will be offered to the waitlist. This system has been implemented to ensure as few tickets as possible go unused.
