Once one of our “Rising Stars” as a young 12-year-old prodigy in 2014\, Luka returns as an international star to perform Elgar’s Cello Concerto. Paired with Brahms’ monumental Symphony No. 1 and the world-premiere of a work by Alberta composer\, John Estacio\, commissioned in honour of The Civic’s 50th anniversary\, this performance will set a brilliant tone for a landmark season.
