This workshop is designed to help artists at all levels better understand the media process, from making connections to pitching your work and building relationships with storytellers. We’ll cover how to connect with editors at Avenue, The Scene, and RedPoint Media publications, how to share your story, and what makes a strong pitch. You’ll also take part in an Elevator Pitch activity, where you’ll practice introducing yourself and your work in one minute, with opportunities to receive feedback and refine your pitch. Through practical tips and hands-on exercises, you’ll leave with more confidence in sharing your story and connecting with the media.
