Hear from Indigenous Voices
This workshop was developed with Otsskoipiiks’aakii Paula Smith, a Blackfoot Knowledge Keeper from Piikani Nation. In the afternoon, Paula will lead a storytelling session and discussion alongside Minipoka Peter Weasel Moccasin or another Elder from Treaty 7. This session offers valuable insight and perspective on contemporary Indigenous relations. Equip yourself with the knowledge and tools to foster a respectful, inclusive environment that honours Indigenous traditions and experiences.
Be sure to pack a lunch! The workshop runs four hours, including a 30min lunch break. Food will not be provided so please pack a lunch or plan to grab food from a nearby business. Unfortunately, we do not have microwaves or a refrigerator available to use.
