Their videos and installations are created in dialogue with diverse artists and collectives\, combining documentary strategies with narrative layers of fantasy and allegory. \nThrough processes of listening and shared experience\, direction\, script\, costume\, and soundtrack are collectively conceived with each project’s participants. This horizontal methodology challenges dominant representational forms by revealing tensions between popular cultural practices and hegemonic structures of visibility. Their work offers a critical reflection on the performative gesture and its social\, aesthetic\, and political reverberations.

The night builds to its climax with Dayle Krall\, “The Houdini Girl\,” performing the Water Cell Escape: shackled\, inverted and submerged\, with only seconds of air and no margin for error. \nHoudini died on Hallowe’en\, 1926. Some anniversaries are marked with a minute’s silence. This one is marked by holding your breath.
