DESCRIPTION:During this four-week guitar class\, participants will explore a range of songwriting possibilities using one string! Artists will listen to popular one-string riffs (think “Smoke on the Water”) to inspire their own original compositions. \nPlease note that this class is best suited for artists who: \n\nAre comfortable with tasks that require focused attention\, repetition\, and the development of fine motor skills\nAre interested in learning a foundational level of music theory\nLove learning and are willing to explore and practice material outside of class time to progress in the class as a group\nHave an instrument at home they can use to practice (but not necessary)\n\nA guitar will be provided to artists by the NaAC to use during the class.
