Woolf’s Voices is a safe intersectional space to honour and to express the feminine in us all through poetry, writing, music, spoken word, comedy, multi-genre performance, etc. Each participant defines what the feminine means for them. Inspired by Virginia Woolf and Intersectional Feminism they create a collective “room of our own” to share and honour what the feminine means to them. Very progressive in her day, the event seeks to emulate what Woolf might do now in this day and age if she was still alive and curating for the community.
