Michael Bernard Fitzgerald is a Canadian folk singer-songwriter whose career has been defined by a combination of heartfelt songwriting, optimism, and genuine human connection.
Since emerging from Calgary’s music scene in the mid-2000s, Fitzgerald has built an international following through six full-length albums, relentless touring, and performances across Canada, the United States, the UK and beyond, sharing stages with artists including Bryan Adams, Ben Harper, Kings of Leon, Sam Roberts, Michael Franti and Dan Mangan. Early releases established his soulful, upbeat acoustic style, while songs such as “I Wanna Make It With You” and “One Love” brought him chart success and a wider audience.
Through every chapter, Fitzgerald has remained committed to the same essential idea: that a song can bring people closer together, one room, one story and one listener at a time.
