Discover the beauty and meaning of Día de Muertos (Day of the Dead), a cherished Mexican tradition honouring loved ones who have passed away through art, remembrance, and community.

Join us for the unveiling of a monumental altar featuring spectacular handmade sculptures, each over six feet tall, created by Mexican artists Oscar and Faby Ríos. Designed by Xolo Design YYC, the altar brings together artistic craftsmanship and cultural symbolism to celebrate Mexican heritage and the enduring connections between generations.

The opening celebration will feature live Mexican music by Gisela Romero, Pat Cuikani, Patio Flamencio, and cultural performances by Amor a Mexico- all local artists, offering visitors an opportunity to experience the richness of Mexican culture.

Whether you are familiar with Día de Muertos or discovering it for the first time, everyone is welcome to learn about the traditions, stories, and symbolism behind this meaningful celebration.

Opening Celebration: Friday, October 30, 2026, at 2:30 PM
