This is Halloween, but make it emo.
Emo Halloween is taking over Hudsons Calgary Downtown for a Halloween night dedicated to the songs that raised us, ruined our MySpace bios and somehow still know exactly what we’re going through.
Expect My Chemical Romance, Paramore, Fall Out Boy, Avril Lavigne, Bring Me The Horizon, Pierce The Veil, blink-182 and all the pop-punk, emo and alternative anthems you still know every word to. Costumes are highly encouraged. Eyeliner is basically mandatory.
Plus, we’re kicking things off with Emo Music Bingo from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m., so get there early, grab a card and find out whether years of questionable music taste have finally become useful.
Your emo phase was never a phase. It was Halloween preparation.
