Join us on September 11, 2026 for a masquerade fundraising gala in support of mental health awareness and the Calgary Counselling Centre.
Drop the Mask YYC is Calgary’s Premier Black Tie Masquerade for Mental Health Awareness
Drop the Mask YYC is back for 2026. On Friday, September 11, join us at The Princeton in downtown Calgary for our signature black-tie masquerade gala to raise funds and awareness for mental health in our community.
Talking about mental health isn’t easy. Whether we’re experiencing our own struggles or reaching out to support someone we love, starting the conversation can feel impossible. Drop the Mask YYC was created to change that.
We all wear masks to get through the day, saying “I’m fine” even when we’re not. This event is about setting those masks aside, embracing authenticity, and supporting those who need it most. It’s about reminding the people around us that they aren’t alone.
In 2026, proceeds from this event will once again benefit the Calgary Counselling Centre, an organization that makes mental health supports accessible by those who need them.
What to expect:
- Dueling Piano Kings return to headline the evening
- Hosted by emcee Salim Valji
- Magician Brent Smith returns
- VIP access and seating
- Silent auction
- 50/50 draw
- Live music by DJ J Groove
